Daily Advertiser (Wagga Wagga,) Tuesday 17 June 1919.
OBITUARY. MR. GEORGE CAMERON.

The latest victim to the influenza epidemic was Mr. George Cameron,
of Brooklyn Farm, Cartwright's Hill, who died at the Wagga District
Hospital yesterday.
The deceased, who was about 50 years of age, came to this State from the Goulburn Valley, in Victoria, and for some time after that was engaged in agricultural pursuits in the Uranquinty district.
In 1901 he came with his family to Brooklyn Farm, Cartwright's Hill,
where he lived up to the time of his death. He leaves a widow and
grown-up family of three sons and two daughters by his first marriage,
his first wife having pre-deceased him by several years.
The sons are Messrs. George, Thomas and William Cameron, and the daughters, Mrs. J Hillam, of Yathella, and Mrs. Geo. Russell, of Cartwright's Hill. There are three step-sons, Messrs. Harry Thompson, of Brucedale;
Alec Thompson, of Bendigo (Vic), and Ernest Thompson, of Rainbow (Vic),
also two step-daughters, Miss May Thompson, of Brighton (Vic), and
Mrs. J. Peters, of Swan Hill (Vic).
The funeral is appointed to leave the hospital, at 11 a.m. to-day for the
Wagga cemetery, where the remains will be interred in the Church of England burying ground.
