My GGF Franz Lukas Goetzenberger comes from Wuerttemberg (now part of Germany), migrating in 1852 with his wife Maria Anna Schmitt and their infant daughter. They settled briefly in upstate New York then moved to Lemonweir, Juneau County, Wisconsin in about 1855; and on to Otisco, Waseca County, Minnesota, about 1865.

I have quite a bit of information about his ancestors and siblings that I am happy to share, and I am frustrated by the lack of any information connecting him to other Goetzenbergers in the US.
