Griffin/ Griffith could be as you suggest I don't find the NIGRO index a user friendly tool with their 5yr search window a bit confusing.
Made more difficult with misspelling as such, but hey to err is human after all.
Mother and her 3 sisters have passed as their parents (Clarke & Griffin)
