I, THE UNDERSIGNED, hereby make application to Register THE TEMPLE BAR GOLD MINING COMPANY as a No-Liability Company, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1894"
1. The name of the Company is to be "The Temple Bar Gold Mining Company, No Liability."
2. The place of operations (or intended operations) is at Tararu, Thames.
3. The Registered Office of the Company will be situated at 93 Queen-street Auckland.
4. The value of the Company's property, including Claim (or lease ground) and machinery, is Ten Thosand Pounds. (?10,000 in 1896 is equivalent to about $1,802,000 today)
5. The number of Shares in the Compny is Seventy-five Thousand of One Shilling each (equivalent to about $9 in 2012).
6. The number of Shares Subscribed for is Sixty-five Thousand.
7. The name of the Manager is Adam Park Horne.
8. The names and addresses and occupations of the Shareholders, and the number of Shares held by each at this date, as as below:-
