FA on Family Tree Circles

Looking for info on Daniel Webster TAYLOR, b. 1823 married Mary Jane SHANKLIN Mar 1849 in Rutherford Co, Tn. They came to Tx in 1854. Children: 1. Charles M b. 1850, Rutherford Co., Tn, 2. Harry Morgan b. 1852, Rutherford Co., Tn, 3. Lucy b. 1854, Tx, 4. Gordon Shanklin b. 1856, Tx, 5. Mary Jane b. 1859, Tx, 6. Fanny A. b. 1862, Tx., 7. John G. b. 1864 Tx., wife Mary died in 1867 and Daniel remarried in 1868 to Mrs. Margaret 'BARKER' HAMILTON. They lived in Kempner, Tx and had three children: 1. Betty b. 1869 d. abt 1873, 2. Daniel W. Jr. b. 1870 3. Robert Buford b. 1872 d. 1968.

When Daniel came to Tx. he settled in Kempner, Tx and opened a supply store, which still stands today 2010. He carried the mail from Belton to Lampasas and was the 1st County Judge of Lampasas bet 1860-64. He was a stock raiser and went on cattle drives on the Chisholm Trail. He died in Raymond, Ks in 1872 while on a cattle drive.

I have no further info on his Parents or siblings although I know he brought a nephew with him to Tx. He had a sister in Ky, but no names.

I have lots of info on his children and grands and greats...just can't go before him.
