My first cousins who were Battles have a web page on many
Cardons, and know a lot more than I do.
My father was from Alabama, his mother remarried to a Sharpley

He is my grandfather and very little information, his parents were
John Henry Cooper and mother was Temperance Everett. My grandparents
lived in Jamesville, N.C. and had 6 children, Roy, John Henry,Tony,
Benny, Betty and Nona.
