William first married Anna Christine Brodt of Volksberg, Alsace Lorraine France. 03/01/1866, she died 5/28/1902 in Brooklyn, Kings, NY.

Their children were:

William Hildbrant Macy 04/08/1895 Brooklyn, Kings, NY. He died in 1970 in Buffalo, Johnson, WY.

Anna Lillian Macy 07/07/1890 Brooklyn, Kings, NY. She died 03/03/1952 in Alameda, Ca.

Josephine Macy born 07/08/1893 Brooklyn, Kings, NY. She died 9/21/1907 in Murray, Cass, NE

Hilda Christine Macy born 11/26/1896 Brooklyn, Kings, NY and died 06/26/1897 in Brooklyn.

After Christine died, William turned the children over to the New York Women & Children's Home. They were put on the Orphan Train to Nebraska Nov. 4, 1903 and were settled in the Cass County area.

William H. Macy married Nettie Richter of Murray, Cass, NE 09/06/1916, they later moved to Wyoming.
