1745 in Sussex?
I am always interested in the Fillary name - after all I married into the family..... I have traced a Foyce Fillary from 1745 married to Sarah, and although I do not have his birth place all of the children were born in Arundel, Sussex, UK. This first chap is my husband's G/G/G/G/grandfather. The Foyce name crops up again as Thomas FOICE Fillary b1840 in Middlesex, London, UK., a G/grandson of the first Foyce. Many of these Fillarys were butchers - since 1830's, the first having moved to London and married there and all the children born in London. Have not been able to link my Fillarys to other trees and have been told by an early "investigator" that he has never come across our branch of Fillarys in all his years of searching. The question is - has anyone else? Rosalee

Have you tried searching the IGI Batch numbers, they have Arundel Parish records Baptisms & Marriages between 1560-1876.
Just Google IGI Batch Numbers and click on the England link, then Sussex and then the blue numbers after Arundel.
Thanks rallyreg - I was on to it straight away - unfortunately it is out of action at the moment. Hopefully, just updating, but will give it another try. When I went to Chichester records office I was only able to confirm a few of my Fillary's I had already from IGI. Need a longer visit maybe. I appreciate your input - thanks.
