1775 Daniel Calladine, Miner of Heanor

Journal by Dave Calladine

I am the direct descendant (g4 grandson) of Daniel Calladine.

Daniel was born the forth of eleven children to Thomas Calladine (1749 - March 7, 1836) and Mary(c1751 ? 1817) in 1775. Daniel Calladine (32 on my ahnentafel) was born in the small town of Heanor in Derbyshire,

His father Thomas Calladine (64 on my ahnentafel) was also born in the small town of Heanor.

Daniels fathers occupation is not listed on the baptism records. However Daniels occupation is listed on Johns baptism record, and on the 1841/51 Census as a coal miner. His mother may have been Mary Rumley who married a Thomas Calladine on May 18, 1769 at Pinxton, but it is not yet confirmed.

Daniels baptism was hard to find, I could not find it at all, but Pauline Priestly, my cousin managed to find it within some typed transcriptions and then we check another microfilm
