My mother's father-James Thomas Abbott of James and ? -married Rhoda Fisher of Joseph and 'Suzie'Fisher in 1901 at Bonavista,Newfoundland(now Canada).Rhoda died at about 47 yrs.old.Abbotts seemed to settle that area in 1700's.William,Thomas,Hugh,and Stephen Abbott all married there in late 1700's.If you have any info on Abbotts going to NFLD.,Canada at that time I'd like to know from where in UK.Also if anyone knows who was mother to James Thomas Abbott and married to James Abbott.They married no later than 1873 as James T. was born around then.There were a lot of James Abbotts at the time so it's confusing.-Tks.
