Adoption Genealogy = new community on Facebook
We have launched a new community on Facebook called Adoption Genealogy. If your ancestors were adopted, orphaned or placed into guardianship at an early age, please join our community. We are based in the US and have knowledge on how to research these early adoptions. But this community is for anyone to discuss their mystery and hopefully find someone that can help know down those brick walls.

Ancestry Sisters are the youngest daughters of 10 kids from a small town in Central Illinois. Yes, we are part Irish. Yes, we are catholic. And so much more. The so much more part includes Bohemian, French Canadian, German, Quakers, Mayflower Descendants, English Nobility, poor, rich, troubled, etc. You get the picture. In our quest to figure out the so much more part, we stumbled into a deep passion for family history.
Family Surnames include Driscoll, Dempsey, Wagner, Benz, Brozicek, Slansky, O'Connor, Heffernan, Anderson, Cook, Barron, Hicks, Hester.

Hi there to you all.
Are you going to be looking into any of the state ward guardianships, the homes the children were put into or the orphanages they were taken to and from as children ???
All of these would have taken place here in Western Australia.
Cheers Chez :)
Hi Chez. We work in the US and research guardianships and orphanages along with adoptions. Hopefully someone in Australia with knowledge can assist in your area.
Thax for the response anyway :)
