1917/13594 Brown Alexander Arthur Mary Jane, William

Marriage of his parents - 02/01/1912

This has all be taken from BDM - no guarantee that this is 100% correct. You will need to verify - usually by buying the certificates.

Thank you Crawford!

I would love to avoid paying for the certificates where possible.

So from your findings: Arthur's parents are William Brown and Mary Jane McLachlan, whom married in 1912, and have 3 other children: William Brown, Hazel Christina Brown, Myra Marion Allison Brown - There was no documents of another son? Would love the web link to these BDM

I am now trying to find a lead and hope that someone else has started their information and ancestry on the web

Hi Mason
William Brown & Mary Jane McLachlan married in Knox Church, Dunedin on 2 Jan 1912

Their children at BDM were:
* 1912 - William Brown
* 1913 - Hazel Christina Margaret Brown
* 1915 - Allison Marion Myra Brown
* 1916 - Alexander Arthur Brown

REMEMBER any other children born 100 years after todays date will not show on BDM - example if one was born 20 Sep 2017 they will not show on the list until Thursday 21st

There was a William Eion Brown who was born 23 April 1918 and died 1 May 1981
This would be why he doesn't show up on the birth list, and won't until 24 April 2018
