Thanks Tonkin , the infomation I posted wasn't very clear or accurate as ive just realised .
Robert Gillespie & his little sister Margaret arrived on the Alumbagh in October 1870 .Margaret was 18 years old at the time .Last anyone heard of Margaret was that she married Alexander Grant from from Inverness Scotland in "1876" at Mornington , so i would say that the information that you have is the same Woman .Robert wandered around the Gold fields of beechworth for seven years before settling in Wunghnu Victoria ,is there any way of searching gold field records for robert on licences or such and which is the best office to search death & birth records of Margaret so i can trace further descendants
