Mrs Wigzell passed peacefully away at her residence early this morning. Though she had been ailing for some time her death was not expected and she seemed quite well yesterday, visiting her daughter last evening.
The late Mrs Wigzell was born in Newton (North of Ireland) and was twice married. Her first husband was Mr W. Peavoy and the marriage took place in India. After her first husband's death she came to New Zealand about thirty years ago and married Mr F. A. Wigzell at Waipukurau in 1889. Shortly after they came to Woodville and have lived here ever since. The deceased lady was of the most kindly disposition and an ardent worker for the Salvation Army. She will long be remembered by a host of friends for her many kindly actions. The sincere sympathy of the community will go out to the bereaved husband and family, of whom there are four sons – Percy, Alec and Jim (the latter in camp with the 18th Reinforcements) and one daughter, Mrs Bryson of Woodville
The funeral will leave her late residence, Grey Street, for the Woodville Cemetery, at 2.30 tomorrow afternoon
