10 August 1895 ARBON-COLEY - On the 10th inst., at the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev George Aitkens, Alfred Howard, second son of Alfred Arbon, of Adelaide, South Australia, to Alice Maud Mary, youngest daughter of James and Rebecca Coley, Foxton

Alfred was a Baker & Confectioner in Main-street, Foxton. The Best Bread 2lb loaf 3?d for cash. Cakes and Small Goods always on hand. Wedding Cakes made in the shortest notice and of the best materials
23 July 1896 Mr Alfred Arbon announces that he has taken over te old established bakery business of Mr Kerr's. Seeing he has been the baker of the establishment,customers may rely on the quality of the bread being kept up to the mark, and Mr Arbon enters into the business under happy signs of success

He was in Foxton in July 1903 when adjudicated bankrupt

He was in Reefton in 1916 buying a residental site at Waiuta

He died in Greymouth 13 Oct 1917 aged 45
