In the 1871 and 1881 UK census Susanna lists Mary Ann as her Step-daughter

''Mary Ann Skinner who died in Croydon 13th Sept 1913 '' did she marry, what is her married name. When and where was she born ?

Hi Noggin, I have in fact found out more detail she was born on 9 Jul 1860 13 Daene Pl, Lee, Kent.
She married Alfred Joseph Maslen on 11 Aug 1913.
Its complicated and there are no records of any father I can find, but it seems Mary Anne went to the Workhouse to give birth, so I'm guessing she left to work again as soon as was practicable and was able to leave her children with Susanna.
Kind Regards
Stan
