This post states that Alfred William George Ott moved to Australia. This is incorrect. George Ott (my father) remained in Auckland, New Zealand. He had 2 marriages. The first, to a woman named Tara or Tira ended in divorce and they had no children. The second marriage, to my mother, Winifred Sidle, lasted until George Ott died (in Australia) on business, 27 July, 1971. There were 3 children from this marriage, Marjorie, Alan, and Glenys.
