I am looking for any ancestors of Christian Theodore Alt born in Frankfurt-On-Maine, Germany in 20 February, 1862. His father Henry Alt and mother Elizabeth Muller. The family immigrated to Australia aboard the ship Kent on 21st April, 1865 from Gravesend, London. Christian was 4 at the time of immigration from the UK to Melbourne, Australia. His 2 year old sister, Katharine, died on the voyage to Australia. He married Laura Varden Smith in 1887 in Gundagai, NSW and they later moved to Parramatta, NSW where he died in 1929.

I am trying to find further information on his father and mother.

He was not related to Christoph Alt's son Heinrich Alt of Yass who returned with is wife 2nd Eliza Muller from Germany to Australia in 1862 although they may have been distant relatives however my Christian, his parents, my grandmother and her siblings, even though their names are the same as those in that book, are not those people mentioned in the Alt Family Book by Robert Alt.
