Dear AJLF, Hi there. Welcome to FamilyTreeCircles. If you google HAGQUIST+genealogy you will be surprised how much information is out there. Do this for your other surnames.

Also try The Surname Navigator. Just click on a country, type your surname that you are researching, then press search. What will happen next is 10 or so window boxes will open up full of info that you will have to sift through. Make sure you have a pen handy.

Think about how you are going to store your family tree data ... hardcopy and/or software. There are lots of free software out there, in particular PAF from Familysearch is brilliant.

Check out Family Search - FREE Genealogical Research. Search for your ancestors there as well.

Also try tribalpages, gencircles, rootsweb, geneanet, genesreunited.
