I found Annie's husband Matthew more easily. From his obituary it appears he was a baker in Wellington:

"Mr. Matthew Mackey, who for many years carried on business as a baker on Clyde-quay, died at his residence in Stanley-street, Berhampore, this morning. Deceased, who was 67 years of age, was born in Kilkenny, and came out to Wellington from Ireland with his wife, who survives him, nearly forty years ago. Shortly after his arrival here he commenced business, and earned it on for about twenty years, then selling out to his brother-in-law, the late Mr. John Stratford. His death was not unexpected, as he had long suffered from heart trouble. He was a very old member of the Hibernian Order. The funeral, which will be preceded by a requiem mass, will leave St. Anne's Church, Newtown, at 9.30 a.m. on Thursday."

He is buried in Karori Cemetery

Annie Mackey seems to be listed on both the BDM register and cemetery record as Ann Mackay (1925/10833) and was 79 when she died.

She is buried in the same plot at Karori Cemetery.

Thanks for that - I had the obituary for Matthew and his death certificate but I had missed checking the Karori Cemetery information. Seems obvious in hindsight.
Much appreciated
Marie
