Yes, I've found a BRIGGS tree;
It seems as if Mark and May Briggs got together about 1917 and had 3 children (cannot find marriage) A boy then a girl not named but then a boy in 1925 they named Ross Mark MOONEY he died in 2006. Ross married Neata Audrey Ann PERHAM 1935-1992 on the 8 Feb 1951 at Taumarunui, New Zealand 2 children a boy and a girl.
May Caroline died on the 13 October 1935 at Taumarunui. She married Albert Arapeta ASHER 1879-1965 in 1901 and had 6 children to him, the last in 1910. So, we see why her and Mark may not have been married
