Journal by allycat

Dear Members, whilst working on my family tree the other day, in particular the PETHYBRIDGE* line, I discovered that a descendant was the co-pilot of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith. His name was John Thompson PETHYBRIDGE also known as Tommy.

Hi Alison

It's interesting how many connections one finds while doing family tree research.

The daughter of one of our Johnson ancestors married Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's brother, Richard Harold Kingsford SMITH.
