im the grandson of william edward baker.dec looking for ino on any bakers in victoria .they all seem to come from heathcote and eaglehawk. william baker was married to lillian gale/whaite.who passed away aweek ago so any info i can get would be great thanks

There were hundreds of BAKERS in Victoria, especially around the Heathcote and Eaglehawk districts. If you can supply a few names and dates for your early family members it will help me pick up their trail. I'm ready to start looking, but need a few details to get me started.

My great grandmother was Elizabeth perrin born 1892 died 1976 married Charles Levi baker born 1864 My grand father is William Edward baker born 1910.Elizabeth perrin ran off with an aboriginal and came back to Charles 7 months pregnant and was raised as Charles son that's the family story any info you find would be great.
