I am seeking death information on Benjamin Barefoot who is listed first in Berks County, PA, and then in Fayette County, PA, Census in 1800. That is the last reference to Benjamin. He is the father of my ancestor James Barefoot (married to Mary Slick or Sleek). I am descended through James Barefoot's daughter Elizabeth (Barefoot) Hammer - my great-great grandmother. Benjamin Barefoot left his wife Rebecca (Ross) Barefoot in Berks County with 5 children before 1800. They never seem to have reconnected. Rebecca died in Bedford County, PA, after she went to join her oldest son James and wife Mark (Slick) Barefoot.
