Bartlett connections: Trying to connect the dots
I have been able to successfully trace my line back to 1840. The oldest member is Curtis Bartlett b abt 1810 married Eliza Abbott b abt 1814.
I have traced them by way of census' and death records of the children.
I believe I have Curtis and Eliza's marriage cert, but it only states Eliza Abbott married "~~~~" in 1833. if Im looking at the 1840 census, they have a son John - 6 yrs old. It matches up.
Anyway, this is where Im stuck. I have been able to do a DNA test on my uncle and there are matches, but who we match up with, have the line so far away, I can not connect our Bartlett tree with their Bartlett tree.

Yes, that is the correct family. The family on the 1850 census is NOT microfiche'ed together. The next page (that has the rest of the family) is actually microfiche'ed a few pages away.
I have been able to find the 1840 census as well.
From what I am told, my line decends from the Bartlett line coming from CT. However, I can not prove or disprove that because I can not connect the dots between.
