I am trying to trace family members related to Sidney George Batten b1889 in Chelmsford Essex England. Married Janette Clark in 1914 Wellington New Zealand. They had six children Kenneth b1915, Jocelyn b 1917, Dorothy b1920, Frederick b1922, Margaret 1924 and Nevill b1926.

I am trying to trace back my Fam Tree to Richard James Batten who married Sarah Ann Bown. They were from Newquay (?), Cornwall. They had 3 children in the USA at Russell Gulch, Gilpin County, Colorado.USA. Richard James b. 9.11.1892, Katie b. 14.1.1895 and William John b. 3.4.1898. Katie and William were sent back to relatives Tom and Harriet Batten in Newquay when they were both killed in a slagslide whilst the children were at school. The other son was brought up by relatives in the USA.

Can someone help me with more information?
