Julian Robert Beal (Jesse's brother) was my grandfather.

Jesse James Beal was my grandfather's brother. There were 4 boys. Roy, Joseph, Julian Robert (my grandfather) and Jesse. Their parents where Jesse P Beall (some documents have it with the double LL and some have it just one L. and Fannie E Perry (according to their marriage certificate. Fannie's father was Archibald Perry. Archilbald shows up in 1870 census in Illinois as an engineer and then in 1880 census he has moved him and the family to Mississippi county, Arkansas. Julian married Theo McMinn (rumor has her as an Indian but I have found no proof of this) and they had several children all of who are deceased now. There was Otto who married Reba Cantrell, James who was married but had no children (I have heard that they did take in Roy's children after he died), Robert (who died at the age of 17 in a car accident) Verlie who died at age 11 of malaria, Alfred (sometimes went by Alford), married to Helen, Albert, married to Marjorie and lived in Sun Praire, Wisconsin, Clarence Edward (my father), Jean who married Wesley Wardell, Mamie (know she was married but havent found out to who yet) Arveal who was married to Cathy (and I have heard there was a wife before Cathy that he had a daughter with) and Vera who was married twice(she was killed near Gilmore Arkansas when her car was hit by a train). Jean raised her three children Janet, Ron Kraft and Jamie (a daughter who was baby at the time of Vera's death.) After Theo died he married Delia Ballard and they had three children together. Julian Ray, Betty Jean and Billy.

I also have just started researching this side of the family. I have dates of births and deaths if you would like along with a copy of several marriages. I also have a copy of Verlie's death certificate and in two weeks I am going to Mississippi County to hopefully find more. Let me know if you would be interested in any of the information I have.

I'm Otto Beal grandson. I remember a number of his brother and Jessa. My aunt remember my grandfather speaking to his mother and it only sounded like a song. Julian and Theodocia lived in Joiner (Mississippi county)Arkansas. I have stayed there. I remember sleeping on the floor on a pile of blankets.
