Hi everyone out there I am new to your little community on the big world on the web so I would like to introduce myself as Munchie. I have been doing genealogy for some time and have been hitting some brick walls. As for my family information alot of it is unknown because I don't know. Meaning for whatever reason no one kept up on the family history to record for their generations to come after them to share. So I am curious as to anyone out there who shares the same last name as I or maybe be ralated in some way be interested in sharing some info.

Dear Munchie, Hi there. May I extend a warm welcome to FamilyTreeCircles.
Sometimes all it takes is for just ONE person to be interested in the family tree, and then it becomes an all-consuming passion. Once you get hooked, you can get hooked real bad (or good as the case may be).
You may be surprised to eventually learn that perhaps somebody has researched your tree already, I've seen that happen a lot.
Please document all your sources of information so that you don't go back over and do the same research later on down the track.
Think about how you are going to store your information: on your computer in free software (PAF) or written on paper (very messy but ok to start with), or say on a website like TribalPages. Tribalpages is a FREE place to store your family tree.
Whilst I am unfamiliar with your surnames, I'm sure there is a great deal of information on them.
What I suggest is that you start submitting some journals (break them up into family groups), starting with yourself and working backwards in the family tree, making sure you respect and protect the privacy of the living by not displaying anywhere on the web their and your full date of birth, marriage etc.
Tell us where your ancestors were from etc. anything that you know and that you don't know.
Also, search for NEWBIES, TIPS, FREE and FREEBIES in the top right-hand corner of familytreecircles in the search bar to get some good stuff. Everyone loves something for free.
When I get round to it, I'll try and create some surname wiki pages for your surnames. Once you click on the surnames at the bottom of your journal you will be taken to the links when they are created. Takes me about 20mins to 1/2hr to do just one.
