I too am confused about what happened to this family. My interest is with Beryl May LAMBERT (?-?). I found the marriage of Robert John and Beryl May and the electoral roll info in 1943 where they were with who I assume are John's parents, James and Elizabeth, but there the relationship with John seems to end. Beryl continues to live with the family right up to 1980, with sisters-in-law (?) or perhaps her children , Lorraine Joy and Janice Beverley Gallagher. Lorraine first appears in 1958 and Janice in 1963 so this would fit. Cannot find out any more about this family at this stage. I did read somewhere that Robert John had been court marshalled whilst in the army. Beryl May is the daughter of Arthur Fitzroy LAMBERT (c1883-1970) and Emma Amelia STRITZKE (1881-1959).
Robert john Gallagher service records are closed at this stage . As veteran affair will have all the information required .robert Gallagher my cousin there must be other cousin on the
Lambert side . The estate hade to go to some one . Is there a will on beryl Gallagher née lambert could supply the information sort.

Beryl Gallagher divorced Robert Gallagher. 1950 for desertion . Beryl May Gallagher and Lorraine joy lost on 1980 census as table hands . There is also two Gallagher sister played soft ball for Qld veterans 1959 to 1964 . Joy Gallagher . Captain and jan Gallagher .
