BIRMINGHAM Family of Cork, Ireland

Journal by niccihart

I don't have much to go on right now. I have only found two names for my tree. My Great Great Grandmother Mary Elizabeth and her father John Joseph.

They are both from the Cork city area of Cork I believe.

Mary was born somewhere between 1883-1888. She left Ireland to Marry an Alfred William SMITH in 1906 in Hampshire. According to her Marriage certificate her father was a John Joseph who was an Army Pensioner.

I have found a John Joseph in the 1911 census as an Army Pensioner. According the record he was born about 1839 in Cork. He is listed as living at 10.3 Lady's Well Hill Road, which I believe is in the City of Cork.

There is another Birmingham family that lived in Cork on King Street I believe it was but I have ruled out that John but he may be a relative somewhere.

Looking for anymore information that could lead to the growing of this branch.
