Bland Family of Balmaclellan Scotland
Hi
I am so very interested in receiving any information on my ggggrandfather Nathaniel Bland born abt 1788 in Balmaclellan, Scotlan (son of John Bland and presumably Jannet Heron (Janet,Jean or Jane). Nathaniel Bland married a Mary King from England born 1801/1877. I did find information on a Nathaniel King and Mary King being married in 1815 at St. Martins in the Fields, Westminister, London, but that would have left Mary only 14 years of age when she married Nathaniel????(wondering if it could have been 1825 ???).
Nathaniel Bland was a burgh officer and Taylor in Scotland. He had the following children with Mary King as follows:
My ggg Catherine Dalziel Bland born 1825 Castle Douglas, Kelton and died 1891. She married Robert Garrett born 1822 (gardener and coachman) at Kelton. He died December 26,1851 at Kelton. Catherine Dalziel Garrett then married David Henry On November 16,1869 at Castle Douglas, Scotland.
Children of Robert and Catherine Garrett are as follows:
Elizabeth,1853
JOhn,1854 married to Mary
Margaret Weir born May 21, 1857
Robert labourer, cattle dealer and grover born August 1861
Margaret Henry, domestic servant born 1861 and died Jan 1907 married MOvember 28, 1884 to William Jardine, ploughman, stone cutter and carter born August 12, 1865 at New Abbey Scotland died July 12, 1944 at Barrie Avenue, Cresswell, Dumfries at the home of his daughter Meg.
William married Melissa Andrews, Dalry Ayrshire
If you are in any way connected to this family, you are also connected to mine and I would be so very grateful to hear from you and to share information.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello Debby. I'm Norrie Bland, I now live in Dundee but originally I'm from Leeds, Yorkshire. I'm trying to find parents of John Bland born about 1809 in Derby. I suspect his fathers name was William. It's a long shot I know but if you've any info I would be grateful. Thank you, take care.
