(D'Arcy & Mary came to NZ from Canada after living for a time in Hobart, Tasmania)

- 13 Nov 1919 The death occurred to-night of William Rutherford Darling, a well known citizen of Oamaru for 30 years. He was held in high respect throughout North Otago. Formerly he was a member of the firm of Messrs Darling and McDougall, grain merchants, but retired recently. His health broke down in June last and his death was not unexpected

In 1898 (now 7) she was in Standard I of the Andersons Bay School where she came 2nd in class
In 1900 (now 9) Lilias attended Miss Miller's school, Braemar House where she came 1st in Class III fot Arithmatic and 2nd for French and received certificates for Botany & Application
On 3 July 1902 (now 11), along with the rest of her family, she attended the wedding of Nina GIBSON of Waitangi & Egerton REID of Elerslie at St Paul's Cathedral
In March 1905 (now 14) Lilias accompanied Miss TOLMIE to Nelson
In 1907 (now 16) she was at Braemar House School where she received certificates for Composition, Algebra, Arithmetic B & French and a Special Prize for French was presented by Mrs Squarise
- Lilias married Cecil George MAY (1886-1931) in 1920
- Cecil was a Tutor. He died 11 years after marriage aged 45
- his last address was 643 George st, Dunedin
- his ashes were sent to England
- Lilias died 43 years after him
- her last address was Elgin Court, Dunedin
- her ashes were returned to the Funeral Director

- - In 1909 he was in Standard VII at the Andersons Bay School when he won a prize in the Bible Class (as did brother Kenneth in Standard VI)
- in 1915 Allan served as Gunner 2/1232 with the Field Artillery, 3rd Reinforcements. He enlisted from Wychwood, ANdersons Bay, Dunedin
- he served in Egypt, Gallipoli, and France as a Lieutenant in the New Zealand Field Artillery during World War I and as a captain in the National Reserve during World War II
- in 1922 Allan graduated from Otago Univeristy with a LL.B.
- Norman married Dorothy Hunter MacANDREW in July 1923
- Dorothy was born 18 Aug 1896
- the WEDDING of ALLAN & DOROTHY
- daughter of Hunter MacANDREW & Ethel Patience Maude ROBERTS
- Allan was a Solicitor
- he died 17 March 1961 aged 66 in Auckland
- his last address was listed as 47 Moana Crec, Dunedin
- his ashes are buried in Northern Cemetery with Dorothy & 11 other Haggitt family members
- Dorothy died 17 Oct 1993 aged 97 at Mercy Hospital, Dunedin

1896 - 1975 KENNETH ALEX LESLIE HAGGITT
- born 24 Feb 1896 in Dunedin
- In 1909 he was in Standard VI at the Andersons Bay School when he won a prize in the Bible Class (as did brother Norman in Standard VII)
- Kenneth served in WWI as Gunner 2/2643 with the NZEF,9th Reinforcements New Zealand Field Artillery
- Kenneth married Christina Isabella PRESTON (1905-1967) in 1927
- daughter of James Henry PRESTON & Margaret PRINGLE. Margaret's parents owned Haldon Station. When Pringle bought Haldon it was running about 25 000 sheep. Pringle sold the Station in 1888 to James Henry Preston. Preston ended up marrying Pringles daughter Margaret, who is noted in the history books for humorously telling that she was thrown in with the sale
- Kenneth died 15 Nov 1975 in Frankton, Otago aged 79
- his last address was Lake Hayes, Otago
- his ashes were buried in Goodwood cemetery

- Edith married Robert Guy SINCLAIR (1894-1960) in 1925
- Robert was a Solicitor in Dunedin
- in Dec 1908 (aged 14), Robert was in Standard VII at the Lawrence District High School when he came 1st for Printing and also for Arithmetic
- he died Xmas Eve 1960 aged 66
- his last address was 746 George St, Dunedin
- Edith died 17 March 1982 aged 84 at Waikari Hospital
- her last address was St David St
- their ashes are buried together at Andersons Bay

NOTES
Mr. William Alexander Tolmie (1933-1875, possible father of Jessie) represented Caversham in the House of Representatives from 1872 to 1875. He was also elected to the Otago Provincial Council for the Peninsula, and became a member of the Executive.
William was from Skye. He went to Victoria, Australia in 1852 and became manager of the Bank of Australia in Geelong from 1859-1864. He moed to Dunedin in 1864 ad became a partner in Dalgety Ratray & Co. In that partnership he held runs 148 "Benmore", 176B "Manapouri" and 291 "West Eyre" and on his own account he had the freehol of "Wairuna" and run 78 "Waipahi", those two together were 16,000 acres. He was a close friend of William James Mudie Larnach and by marriage was related to Mathew HOLMES and Bryan Cecil HAGGITT
In private life Mr. Tolmie was a well-known sheepfarmer. He had been ailing for some time before his death, and was, therefore, unable to attend to his parliamentary duties in Wellington. He died at his residence, Anderson's Bay, Dunedin, on Sunday, the 8th of August, 1875
