A Valentine Buchly from Switzerland married my great great Aunt Maria Barbara Ott in Christchurch New Zealand 7/11/1858.I have found several possible children.I would like to find out for sure how many children they had and their names.

Information from the Church records index at the Christchurch Library, all listed as children of Valentine and Maria, nee Ott : Alfred Buckly born 31/7/1862. Emma Buckly b 14/8/1863 buried 21/10/1883 aged 20. Arthur Otto Buckley b 28/7/1873 (my husbands grandfather) Albert Buckley who married Emma Bishop 5/11/1890, aged 28. George Buckly married 31/8/1893 to Isabella Campbell aged 34. Maria Margaret b 5 April 1865, she died at age 22. Paulina Buckly b 16/10/1867, married Peter Hill 26/7/1894. Valentine Edward Buckly married Eliza Emily McConnell 25/8/1904. Willy Buckly born 4 April 1864. Also detailed Valentine Buckley buried 26 March 1879 aged 36 yrs. I have not found Valentine and Maria's graves as yet. We have searched the graves around the church where all of the children were baptised but could not find any headstones. Regards, June
