Lewisham Council has a Historical records department
from their site
"Burial and cremation records
Lewisham's Bereavement Services office holds over 430,000 burial and cremation records from Lewisham cemeteries and Hither Green Crematorium.
The borough's records are not available in electronic format, but staff can do a search of the records for a fee of ?33 for up to three names."
Walter T G is my dad who passed in 1982, I shall have a look at the Skiggs as i found some also in the census but in earlier years.
Regards
Allan
