I searched using the variants and could not find a registration.
Forest Creek at this time was a tent town the church had a canvas roof. The Forest Creek area was serviced by the Rev, Mr.John Cheyne (presbyterian), he travelled from camp to camp in the The Castlemaine Mount Alexander area. 16 April was a Saturday.
Through newspaper records I know this;
Argus 4 April 1853
MALDON
On Tuesday, 29th March, at Rodborough Vale, by
the Rev. John Cheyne, A. B., Alfred Joyce, Esq., of
Norwood, Loddon River, to Caroline, only daughter of
E. G. Bucknall, Esq., of Rodborough Vale.
Rodborough Vale is west of Castlemaine and the Bucknalls' were an important family arriving in 1840 from Gloucester. This marriage does not appear to be registered. Nor is Hanna Parkinson to T. G. Robinson in June the same year at Castlemaine. However Castlemaine solicitor J.G.M Wigley was registered when he married in July 1853.
"John Cheyne = At Castlemaine from 1853. First President of the Castlemaine District Hospital. At Muckleford. Stationed at Sandridge in 1859, scandal over missing money. Became insolvent and left the ministry circa 1861. His wife died in 1867 at Muckleford, Victoria. He married secondly in 1870 at St Kilda Victoria to Janet Mary Carmichael. Ran a school in Phillip Island in the 1870s. Died 11 December 1880 at his residence South Preston.

What I was trying to say is; I don't know how thorough John Cheyne was about keeping his records in order, but because I found a couple missing, the chances of Ann Stevins and Cordery being married on the gold fields is not out of the question. There would have been church records and they may be within the Castlemaine Historical Society. Try this Email: secretary@maldonmuseum.com.au They have an archive section which does (from memory) include some of the Cauderys'.
I believe the town is now out of lockdown they may be able to point you in the right direction.
