CHAFFE Edward married Emline TREMILLS 1840
Information Journal.
Groom: Edward CHAFFE.
Age: 24 years.
Bride: Emline TREMILLS.
Age: 18 years.
Date married: 15 September 1840.
Place: Widecombe In The Moors, Devonshire, England.
Possible death for Edward is 1859 in Victoria, aged 50 years. Place of death and parents not recorded, but I'm sure this will be him. The age is a bit out going by his age at marriage, but this means nothing.
It also looks like Emline remarried in 1868 to William CARVER and died in 1907 aged 86 years. Her parents were recorded as HANDFORD and Ann TREEMILES. Not sure where the HANDFORD comes from, but TREEMILES does sound like TREMILLS.
Five children located Victoria Australia for Edward and Emline.

Comments
Not a common name the Tremills. They were from Widecombe on The Moor in Devon there was another Elizabeth Tremills who married into the Nankiville family. I saw her grave at the St.Kilda cemetery. Probably the same family.
