This may just be coincidence, but, the only marriage I can find for a Matthew Griffin is to a Mary Ann OLIVER 28 January 1837 Ladock Cornwall. Seems strange that you mention Oliver in the death of your Isaac. Maybe there is some confusion over Isaac's parents & Mary's parents, perhaps, perhaps not. Will have a look at the Trebilcocks later

Much appreciated SilverVixen.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

I will look at my tree for more detail for you. Are you with Ancestry at all? I am definitely related to you but distantly - have you found any Tippetts at all?
I will look now:
Elizabeth Champion (1823 - 1832) had a sister Mary Champion who is my 2x great grandmother. She married William Tippett in 1849. They were a mining family and when the tin trade slowed down many of my family members emigrated to the 4 corners of the world.
I live in Hayle - not far from St Uny, if you want any photos.
I can probably help you more if you wish. My email address is janet.hammond1@gmail.com - it will be easier to send you material from that.

I definitely have the Tonkin family amongst the Champion family.

Greetings Janet10.

There were some CHAMPIONs mixed up with my lot but not from this family line.

I do thank you for the offer.

Cheers.
