CHARLES OF VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA (originally Ireland)

ANDREW CHARLES (b. 1813) is my 3 x great grandfather. He married Margaret MOOREHEAD in Tyrone, Ireland and arrived in Australia in 1841 on the ship 'England' with my 2x gt grandfather James (born about 1840).
James and Margaret WHITE had a son Andrew (b.1869)(my gt grandfather.) Andrew married Margaret MITCHELL and my grandmother was the third child born to them - Alice May HUGHES 1900-1965.
This is as brief as I can make it. I have a lot more information but I'm searching for more! I'll very happily share what I already have.

Thanks for contacting me. You are the only person I have come across in the 18yrs of my research that is related to, or has info on, my CHARLES family. I don't know how much I can help you with as I have precious little, but I may be able to fill in gaps with James & Lily's (HOLE) little family group if you need it. My mother, June, was isolated from her family by my father (control freak) and died when I was 13yrs old. After her death I hardly saw the rest of the family because of Dad, so I really don't know much. Mum's sister Loris died 5 years ago but before then we had regained contact although I lived in NSW by then. As a result, I had limited contact (feeling like an outsider in my own family) and she only gave me small snippets of info. So, like I said, I will help you as best I can, but you will probably know more than me already, unfortunately...
Anyway, looking forward to your reply, and hoping for a long and happy relationship with a cousin I have never met!
