Charles Barrow
Have a look at this article on Papers Past-
EIGHTH BALLOT
The Grey River Argus, 7 June 1917

Charles Barrow appears here and he is listed as a miner from Waiuta, Grey.

However, there doesn't appear to be any record of his service/enrollment to be found on Archway (he may not have seen service?)

CHARLES BARROW.

Death occurred suddenly on Tuesday last at Dungog of Charles Barrow, who passed away peacefully in his sleep. Deceased had only been in this State, some six months and was the guest of his' sister, Mrs. S. Cutler, Courthouse Hotel. The late Mr. Barrow was born at Matliinna(Tasmania) 43 years ago and for the last 20 years had been engaged in mining in New Zealand where he contracted the miners' complaint which brought about his demise. Though a man of very quiet disposition and only in Dungog for such a short period, yet he made many warm friends. His mother and two sisters, Mrs. Cutler and Mrs. Peters, were with him at Dungog. Mrs. Grey and Mrs. Rice (Lockhart), Mrs. Leeham (Raymond Terrace)and Mrs. Black- (New Zealand) are sisters, and Messrs. Fred and Percy (New Zealand) and William (Tasmania) are brothers. The funeral took place on Wednesday when deceased's mortal remains were laid to rest in the Presbyterian portion of the local cemetery. The last prayers .were read by Rev. A. F. Crapp in the absence of the Presbyterian minister. Mr. F. G. Redman conducted the funeral arrangements. Deepest sympathy is felt for the sorrowing mother and family in their sad bereavement.
