This is my family......Benjamin Collingwood Waby was my great grandfather
His wife, Gertrude Williden, was my great grandmother's sister Annie. I have information about her parents, George Sidney Williden and Annie Williden (nee Phillips).
Kind regards Nanette
Maud Mary Waby was my grandmother. Her husband William Robertson died at the age of 28, they had one child, a daughter Joy (married name Mann) however she died in her thirties I believed of cancer. My grandmother married my grandfather, Sidney Cropp in 1936. They had three children, two died as infants and the surviving child was my mother, Pamela Inez Cropp.
Thanks Sue
In regards to the children as mentioned above, my grandmother, Maud Waby told me there were 8 children including her. The ones not listed above were Mona, and William. My grandmother was quite close to Ben who lived in Oamaru and her sister Dorothy who we had a bit to do with I remember as a child. My gran lived in Christchurch.
