Christopher Davis f/o Arthur Davis b.Abt 1755 in North Carolina?

I have a Stafford Davis who's father is Arthur & am trying to comfirm that Arthur's father is Christopher. Any information on this line would be very much appreciated. If anyone has information going farther back than this, would appreciate your sharing your information with me.

Hi, I've got a Christopher Davis in my line, too. He also lived in North Carolina (in the Anson/Union county area) during the 1700's. I believe that he was of welsh descent.

I notice too that you are researching the Mullis line. I too have Mullis ancestors--they started out in Virginia, but like the Davises ended up in the Anson/Union county area of NC. I bet we're related, at least along the Mullis line!

My great great etc. Grandfather was A christopher Davis whom I have a copy of his Anson county NC will. . . dated april 6 1786. . . My family lives almost entirely in south Georgia in the Waycross area. . . My father Navy so we ended up in Memphis tn. . .reunion every 2nd saturday in april at laura S Walker Park. . .my aunt the family reunion president my email ( ck'd intermittingly) is ranger581@bellsouth.net . . . thats about as far back as I know 'cept for something 'bout a welsh king in our past but thats all in a book and cd file with my aunt and I'd have to get with my aunt to get the specifics
