Hello I am searching for what happened to James Peter Clarke he was born in Lancashire England in 1851 and travelled to Australia in 1852 with his parents Samuel James Clarke and Charlotte Reynolds. There were several children to the family but Samuel James Clarke left Charlotte Reynolds and went back to England approx 1862. Charlotte had already started to have children with Francois Labat the local baker and she married him in 1862. I have not been able to find out what happened to James Peter Clarke or his brother Charles Edward Clarke from 1862 they must have stayed in Australia with their mother. I found a James Peter Clarke in Sydney years ago but can't remember how I managed that, it must have been with the kind help of your volunteers.

Both James Peter Clarke (born 1851 Lancashire, England) and his younger brother Charles Edward Clarke (born 1858 Geelong Australia) eventually ended up in England but I would like to find if possible any school records, or some kind of records to show where they were between 1862 and adulthood
