I did know where he died, but beyond that I have no idea where in Wales he is from no one seemed to write that down anywhere. I did find his obituary yesterday and am sending for it, so hopefully it will have more information on there. But thank you for looking. Much appreciated

I search the graveyard in Rouseburg, OH and found no marker. It is a small town and this was the only graveyard.

The only thing I have in our records is that his grave is unmarked. His wife died in Bellvue in an unmarked grave as well. But I want to thank you for looking into it for me.

Here is what I do have on him. David Williams was born abt 1755 Wales. When he was just 14 years old he ran away from home on a ship. This ship supposedly wrecked somewhere off the east coast and he was 1 of the 3 survivors on it. He served in the revolutionary army under George Washington ( I can't find anything definite on this). He took care of George Washington's horses and his wife Margaret did George Washington's laundry when they were in valley forge. They were later in Philadelphia area (not sure where) and this is where their children were born. They later showed up in Center or Centre PA with their son Daniel and his wife Catherine Henney and went to Ohio with a group of people in several wagons. Im not sure who all went but from everything I have read it must have been about 4 other surnames and some possibly married into the family. I found a William Williams which is their oldest son in the census for Perry Township, Wayne Co. But after about 1830 he just disappears altogether. If you have anything to add to this or know of any of David and Margarets children I would love to have this information. I do have their daughter nancy married to a Philip Shrock with one son Paul. I'm not sure how accurate it is but this is the only other child I have any information for. I look forward to hearing from you.

The information I have found is about David Williams grandson, also named David Williams. This is from The History of the Fire Lands and references David and Margaret. It follows the lineage of David and Margaret's son Daniel. The link is listed below.

Thank you debilyn222 I do know about this and have researched it. But unfortunately there is nothing beyond what I already knew on there. My family descends from Daniel Williams. Boy this all is so frustrating when you don't have much to go by.
