Hi edmondsallan I am looking for DAVIES Robert Lloyd aged 72 yrs
died in Perth West Aust. 19-12-1940.
He married Elizabeth Hall PARKIN,
THEY ARE MY GRANDPARENT but I don't know anything about Robert my grand father. where he came from or who his parents etc were.

Not much at the moment, you probably have all this but maybe a reader will recognise the info and get back to you:

Robert Lloyd DAVIES (1868-1940) & Elizabeth Hall PARKIN (1878-1942) were married on 27 August 1903 in Cottesloe, a (now) suburb od Perth, about half way between Perth city and Fremantle

Robert died on 19 Dec 1940 aged 72
- he had been living in Perth, no suburb mentioned
- buried Gravesite 0302 - Section HA - Wessleyan - at Karrakatta

Elizabeth was born in Ballarat, Victoria
- a daughter of Samuel Hall PARKIN (a piano tuner) & Emma Jane BOYD (or was it BOASE ?) married in Victoria in 1872
- Elizabeth died on 21 Aug 1942 aged 63
- she had been living at Herne Hill, which is a suburb of Perth about 30km north of the CBD
- she is buried with Robert

- her parents Samuel & Emma Parkin were on the Western Australia Electoral Roll as living in Fremantle, WA in 1903
- Emma died on 21 Oct 1921 at Fairlight street, Mosman Park (about 3km from Cottesloe Beach) aged 87. Her death notice in the "West Australian" said ... relic of of the late Samuel Hall Parkin, formerly of Ballarat, Victoria and mother of Mrs A. FEW, Mrs J. GALASSO, Mrs T. BOSE (Boase?), Mrs W. HARRY, Mrs E. DAVIES and Mr S. PARKIN
- she is buried Gravesite 0232 - Section DC at Karrakatta
- Samuel's burial not yet found but his probate was in 1908 (he left Emma ?6 1s 6d, which today is roughly betweeb $500-$800)

no children found at this time for Robert & Elizabeth Davies, hoping others may recognise the above data and can help

Robert and Elizabeth Davies were my mathernal grandparents.
my mother was the eldest daughter emma jane ella. Gwyn Vida
Mum known as ella married William James Moriarty
Gwyn married Harry Makin Vida married Doug Turner
all the above are now deceased.
I did not know of my grandmothers brothers and sisters
I did know that emma jane Boyd married Thomas Boase when she was 18
on the 19th july 1854 in S.A.

Robert Lloyd Davies married Elizabeth Hall Parkin.
Robert came from Sydney
He was a blacksmith
he lived at canarvan also worked at the cue goldfields
then latter worked at the midland workshops
also lived at the old mens home in Sunset perth.
would like to find his family tree or parents
or where he actually came from. any family he might have had.
