I'm a new searcher looing for details of the lives of John or Yohan (spelling??) Ludwig Anderson. Thought to of lived around Opotiki NZ Married Sarah Agnes Daysh Born 26/6/1876 Died 23/9/1930

hi there, welcome to FTC
John Ludwig ANDERSON (1869-) was born in Sweden
he married Sarah Agnes DAYSH (1876-1913) on 21 July 1893
Sarah was born in Taratahi, Carterton

John & Sarah had 12 known children:
1893 - Norman Harold Charles Anderson
1894 - Clarence George Anderson
1895 - Hector Seymour Anderson
1896 - William James Anderson
1898 - Seymour Leslie Anderson
1899 - Donald William Anderson
1901 - Lester Frank Anderson
1903 - Herbert John Anderson
1906 - Arthur Herbert Anderson
1908 - Edna May Anderson
1909 - Gladys Anderson
1912 - Gordon Wilfred Anderson

Sarah died 23 Sep 1913 aged 37 and is buried in Opotiki

It is possible that John(?)/Gustav(?) Ludwig Anderson died 8 May 1912 on the West Coast of NZ aged 38. At the time he was described as a seaman, native of Sweden, late of Hokitika
This would make a birth year of 1874

Hi thankyou for for sharing this. My thoughts are that John was still alive when Sarah died and this would have John dead before her. They were farming on Warrington Rd Opotiki at the time of her death.
