Georgina T Creath 24 (looks like J on census)

Unable to find marriage for Georgina to Alfred Toogood. According to the 1911 census there is a gap in children between 1903 & 1910. It also states 7 children born 6 still living. Perhaps Dorcas died in 1905 giving birth and a child died. So Georgina and Alfred could have married any time between 1905/10, if they married at all.

Perhaps someone else will have more luck with finding a marriage.

1. I am intrigued to which website you have used for some of this info. Ancestry does not give this complete detail regarding precise dates. I would like to know please
2. There were at least 2 Dorcas Ann Creeth's living at the same time period. My Dorcas gave birth to Catherine Agnes Toogood in Leeds on 9th Dec 1902. I summise that she died in childbirth there but no record on Ancestry.
3. Your last record of Irish wedding i believe has to be correct. AHF toogood was a very good pro golfer and he regularly moved around the country getting jobs at golf courses - hence Leeds. He came 4th in the 1894 British Open.

I think the death for Dorcas above is correct, there is a golf club there.

If you look at the 1911 census there is a Catherine born 1902 Leeds.

This may be the child that died, Dorcas died in Essex. Unfortunately mothers maidens were not shown on birth regs befoer late 1911

I am going to go with that. Catherine born Leeds 1902 lived until the 1980's. she was my Mum's aunt (called Kit) and my 87 year old mum is still alive. The marriage between Georgina was missed by me because of the Ireland link and i have now found it myself. I have learnt something from your great help. Cheers from Tasmania
