My father, Earl D. Hart 1900 CA-1966 OR; his father Robert G. Hart 1872 PA-1950 CA; Charles H. Hart 1837 IN-1906 OR (I have his 1861 Civil War, Indiana Volunteer cert.); Goldman M. Hart 1810 PA-1886 IN; Charles Hart, Jr. 1787 NC-1833 KY; Charles Hart, Sr. 1761 NC-1841 KY; David Hart 1740 VA-1791 NC; Charles (Klera) Hart, 1700 Paletine - 1793 SC.

I have a copy of a land deed dated 2/16/1819, for Tennessee I think, it doesn't say. David was killed and the deed given to his brother Charles. Does anyone know how David died in 1791? Are we related to the Hart's that helped Daniel Boone in Kentucky? It mentions Nathan & Thomas Hart, I don't know whose sons they were. Any further information on our Hart family would be appreciated. Erlene Hart-Thomson

Don't think we are related to the Kentucky Harts. I was in Hart County, KY 2 summers ago and looked in to it. Can't remember who those Harts were but it didn't line up.
