I am researching my husbands great grandfather William Dickson transported for stealing to Australia from Scotland. He ended up in Tasmania around Launceston, a place called Morven, his son John emigrated to Canterbury in New Zealand. I'm trying to find who William's parents were in Scotland. I don't think these are your family although this was around 1830's maybe the name was altered. Would be
