Marilyn_Phillips on 2012-03-22 16:29:05There is a genealogy DNA test available online and the cost for 12 markers is $99 plus $4 shipping and handling. 25 markers is $124 plus $4. It's not hocus pocus and generally used to find relatives and an area and country the family originated from. Mostly it helpful for situations involving brick walls. I'm sure there are several firms doing this type of testing. There is a Rootsweb group involved which tries to match up people whose DNA is in common or I should say is involved with a particular firm that does this.
