Does anyone have a MCCROHON in their tree?

If you do, please write back to me as there is a lot of research material available. You will be very surprised.

I am descended from the first McCrohon in Australia. His name was John MCCROHON 1795-1839 and he married Amelia (Emily) DU CROIX. They had 9 children that we know of, and one being Suzannah McCrohon (my ggg grandmother) married Patrick Cantwell who was a Gold Miner.

Also, the McCrohons in England are trying to link up with the McCrohons in Australia.

Hi. Have you worked with www.familysearch.com I have found tons.

You will need to have one date or year in order to limit the hits.

I found SuSannah Mc Crohon and Patrick Cantwell, Catholic married 20 AUG 1853, New South Wales, Australia? Record is incomplete, no children listed. Perhaps you can get a Catholic Record from the Diocese over New South Wales.

Thank you on your Hyem research, once again it has been very helpful, but Pearl Walter Hyem did marry Marion Elizabeth Farrington and they had 8 children. Now I am trying to contact any/all descendents of these. My mum was Jean, so it is all others I want to hear from.
Thank you allycat on all your valuable help. My nephew and son think the whole thing is amazing and we are finding lots of cousins. Please contact me if you hear any more news.

Amelia Jane McCrohan was born in 1855 in Inverell, NSW, her father John was 28 and her mother bridget was 21, she married Thomas James Gray on the 16th November, 1873 they had 10 children over the 24 year period, shed died on 7th october 1940 in her hometown at the age of 85 yrs.
Working on my family tree my great grandparents are Edward and Annie Gray, Amelia is my pops great great grandmother.
Looking for as much info as i can.
